Great pub with outside seating with designated NO Smoking Tables. It's has a small play area with tables for when you want to eat drink and watch your kids scream while ignoring them. Food was good and came fairly quickly. The Sunday menu isn't huge but has a varied selection so should suit all tastes.
My husband and I went for a hike and came across this pub at the end. The atmosphere was cozy and warm and the platter we ordered was perfect. I am definitely coming back again to try the steak. 2 things I really appreciated were that They allow dogs inside which I found perfect and had partitions between the tables
We found this place by accident whilst we had time to spare waiting to collect our kids from adventure camp. This canal side little pub did not disappoint. Although a small menu it has great gastro pub vibes and the most fabulous Sunday roast. Very welcoming and accommodating staff and great beer garden with small play area. Would certainly return.
Lovely place just next to the Watermead Park. Very good food. Nice place, inside and outside. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
My family and I came to The White Horse yesterday evening and the staff and Manager were absolutely brilliant! They made us feel so welcome and the service was excellent. The food was amazing! I had the pork and leek sausages with red wine gravy, my husband had the Yankee burger, my Father-in law had the gammon and my Mother-in-law had the Hunters Chicken and we all agreed it was the best pub meal we had ever had! The setting is stunning too, a beautiful pub garden which over looks Watermead Park. We will definitely be going back! Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
